Bike Rodeio

Wickenburg, Arizona, Saturday morning 49 kids had a great time on their bikes, while learning the rules of the road at the Community Center parking lot. Roads , intersections and various road situations were drawn out in chalk for them to follow. The program started with an information period on bike safety. Free helmets were given out to anyone that needed a helmet. Then the kids were thrilled to practice and navigate the road course. Over and over the kids rode for 90 minutes until a prize drawing was had for some new bicycles .

The program was sponsored by the Wickenburg Police , The Rotary Club, the Elks and the Retired Teachers Association.
