TOWN MANAGER RESIGNS

Wickenburg, Arizona : City of Wickenburg Town Manager Shane Dille has taken a job a assistant Manager for the Town of Buckeye Arizona. He tendered his resignation on March 22nd, but will stay until May 22nd.  He has done a good job in a tough position.

Buckeye Town Manager David Wilcox selected Wickenburg’s town manager as the new assistant town manager in Buckeye.

Shane D. Dille, who has more than seven years of executive municipal experience as town manager in Wickenburg and Gila Bend, will join the town staff near the end of May. He was among 145 who applied for the new position in Buckeye’s administration.

“Shane is a great fit for Buckeye,” Wilcox said in announcing the selection. “He has experience in everything from economic development to finance to dealing with growth issues, and he is especially well versed in issues affecting the west Valley.”

A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in information systems management, Dille holds a master’s degree in city administration from the same university.

Before joining Wickenburg, Dille was assistant town manager/finance director and then town manager in Gila Bend and previously was assistant to the city manager in Lehi, Utah.

  In January  Wickenburg City Planner Miles Johnson Revealed a ten year annexation plan for Wickenburg. Johnson said the plan was created to address future needs of the community and to COMBAT " KNOWN THREATS " SUCH AS THE TOWN OF BUCKEYE.
