Wickenburg, Arizona : The city council had a Special Town Council Meeting for the Town of Wickenburg on Monday. The results for the election was certified. Then the Mayor Badowski stepped down on a vote on Hermosa Ranch. He cited a conflict of interest regarding this project. The council then voted to rescind the ordinance #972 concerning Hermosa Ranch. The council then voted to re-approve the ordinance without the Mayor's vote. At no time was public input asked for regarding these votes. That raises the question as to the legality to the votes. Should not public input be allowed before a zoning change ?

  The Mayor did not disclose what was the previously unknown SUBSTANTIAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST. He will have to disclose on a public form and we will make this public ASAP.
