Wickenburg, AZ,:  No matter what your position on the Wickenburg Country Club issue, all citizens of Wickenburg were denied their Voting Rights by the Judge Margaret Downie's ruling regarding, the  Country Club issue. The Judge threw out the petition to put the issue  back on the November Ballot. All citizens of Wickenburg cannot vote on this issue now, one way or the other. Every voter has lost at this point. The referendum was taken out by the Committee for Preservation of Established Neighborhoods, using the guide lines provided by the City of Wickenburg. Ray Johns of the Committee pointed out that " the Judges ruling had errors  in it , because it stated that the referendum did not include the title of the ordinance, as well as it's number " but the information is clearly on the Petition for Referendum. ( Ordinance # 953 ).
